India add three more weightlifting medals; Tejas Shirse ends 60-year CWG wait
Indian weightlifters secured five medals, including gold and silver, at the Glasgow Games. Gyaneshwari Yadav and Bindyarani Devi added two silvers and a bronze to the medal tally. Tejas Shirse qualified for the men's 110m hurdles final, a historic achievement for India. Long jumpers M Sreeshankar and Lokesh Sathyanathan also advanced to their respective finals.
